Installation, Servicing, Safety checks and Landlords Safety Certificates (CP12)
Our gas engineers are fully qualified, accredited and Gas Safe Registered (formally Corgi), giving you the peace of mind that all gas work undertaken is completed to the relevant legislation and safe practices. Our engineers will always carry their Gas Safe Register ID cards, with their own unique registration number, for our customer’s peace of mind.

Servicing

For most people having a reliable and dependable boiler is essential. However, like anything, to enhance its life cycle a boiler requires regular servicing and maintenance, this is also a requirement by most manufactures in order to maintain a new boilers warranty. An annual boiler service can help prevent potential problems, avoid unwanted disruption and ensure maximum central heating and hot water efficiency to help keep energy bills to a minimum.

As part of every boiler service our engineers carry out a comprehensive checklist to ensure the safe and efficient operation of your appliance.

Installation

Landlords Gas Safety Certificate (CP12)

By law, under the Gas Safety (Installation and Use) Regulations 1998, it is every landlord’s responsibility to get a Gas Safety Certificate every twelve months. A copy of this certificate should also be provide to the tenant. When carrying out Landlord Gas Safety checks our engineers will carry out the following:

  • Tightness test – To ensure there are no gas leaks on the pipework or appliances
  • Standing and working pressure (if test points are available)
  • Burner/operating pressure- Checked against the manufactures instructions
  • Adequate ventilation check
  • Flue inspection including flue flow test – To ensure that all products of combustion are safely removed
  • Flame Failure devices checked for correct operation
  • Checks to the physical stability of the appliance
  • Investigations for any evidence of unsafe operation will be made and reported
